The Heidolph large scale evaporators of the Hei-VAP Industrial series are perfectly designed for a great deal of different distilling processes, from standard evaporation without vacuum control up to complex distillation processes with vacuum control.

Glassware RC - Identical to glassware assembly R, but features two receiving flasks

Does the Hei-VAP Industrial Safety have UL or CSA certification?
Yes, all Heidolph rotary evaporators are both UL listed and CSA approved.
Can the Hei-VAP Industrial Safety be used in a Class 1 hazardous environment?
According to Heidolph, there are many Hei-Vap Industrial Safety units being used successfully in both class 1, division 1 and class 1 division 2 environments. That said, they are not explosion-proof by regulatory standards (see the next FAQ question, "Is the Hei-VAP Industrial Safety explosion proof?").
Is the Hei-VAP Industrial Safety explosion proof?
No, technically not. In order for a rotary evaporator to be classified as explosion proof it must carry ATEX, IECEx, and / or UL1203 certification. The Hei-Vap Industrial Safety does not have any of these certifications. Be cautious of any rotovap manufacturer who claims their equipment to be explosion proof without proper certification.
What are the electrical requirements for running the Hei-VAP Industrial Safety?
It's 220 V, 60 Hz, 20 A single phase. A plug is not supplied, so you'll either need to hardwire it or wire it to an appropriate plug.
Is training and / or installation available?
All Hei-Vap Industrial orders receive free on-site training and installation.
